That’s fantastic. Paul, the High-Performance Pathway step number one. How can our viewers apply this to ensure that they are recession ready?
Easy, Alex. Basically evaluate your people and “why would you do that?” The question you might be thinking. Well, you know, it’s easy to sell when times are going well. It’s a lot tougher when the economy starts to tighten, and what we typically find is that what we think is – are good sales people, when times are going well, they get found out through a crisis or an economic crisis. And so to be “Recession Ready” means we have to have the most effective people we can possibly have. And, you know, salespeople need to be really effective at growing market share, which means they need to be able to be good at prospecting, good at consultative selling, negotiation and account management. And sales leaders, for that matter too, have to be able to lead and manage really, really well through a crisis. So what better way to just remove the guesswork and wrap some science around understanding how effective your sales team are? And furthermore, you know, a lot of CEOs often wonder: “Do I have the right people in the right seats of the bus?” And a sales evaluation can quickly answer that question in a really, really timely manner.
Okay. So you’re talking about sales evaluations, presumably you’re referring to the objective management group, otherwise known as OMG evaluations. These have a high degree of scientific credibility, don’t they Paul?
