The one page sales plan
What you’ll learn :
- Define your target markets
- State your strategic growth intent
- Set two-year sales goals, by quarter and year
- Keep the whole plan on one page the team can actually use
What's inside
Inside the download. What it covers, section by section.
The top block where you name the company, date the plan and state where growth is actually meant to come from, so the whole page hangs off one clear intent.
Work from targeted revenue down to sales to new customers by subtracting forward orders, existing business you can count on and account growth, then adding churn. Columns cover the previous 12 months, next 12, next 24 and next quarter.
Reverse engineer the target into deals required, proposals presented, exploration meetings, prospecting calls and account management calls, each broken into 12 month, monthly and weekly figures with a conversion ratio.
Define up to three markets side by side: the market itself, the target audience inside it, the problems you solve for them and the gains you provide.
For each target market you write a positioning statement, the unique value propositions and the unique selling points, so every rep tells the same story to the same audience.
The bottom row turns the plan into commitments: the priorities for the next 90 days, who owns each one and when it is due.

Because a plan the team can see is a plan the team can follow. Everything fits on a single A3 sheet rather than a document nobody reopens.
