Introducing SalesStar Digital
SalesStar Digital is the digital marketing Practice of SalesStar. It was formed in 2021, to specifically focus on digital lead generation.
For many years, SalesStar’s core product (sales transformation and coaching) has transformed growth-minded businesses. And we consistently heard the same question:
“You’ve transformed our sales strategy… can you improve our marketing strategy?”
From this, SalesStar Digital was formed… a digital marketing agency with sales effectiveness in its DNA.
Our mandate is to develop and implement lead generation campaigns through digital marketing, forever building digital infrastructure and always ensuring that the marketing strategy runs parallel and compliments the efforts of a company’s sales team.

In 2021 I partnered with SalesStar to establish SalesStar Digital. I was drawn to the opportunity of working with SalesStar due to the values of the organisation, which emanate through to its great clients. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with clients who are serious about growth and also understand the importance of pairing a marketing strategy with a sales strategy.
I previously worked for a number of years as an independent consultant to companies around the globe and across a variety of industries. My predominant focus was on digital marketing and wider corporate strategy.
Before my professional career, I was born and raised in Blenheim, New Zealand before completing a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business, Economics) and Diploma of Language (Spanish) at the University of Otago.
In 2014 I completed a Masters of International Management from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy; and worked for several years in France and the UK. Having since returned to New Zealand, I am happily based on Auckland’s North Shore.
I’m a digital marketer that loves data, creative, consumer behaviour and tying it all together through strategy and execution to deliver higher sales and lead generation.
Having worked in New York, Australia, New Zealand, and remotely throughout the globe, I bring a wealth of experience and big picture thinking to the clients I work with. I’m a continuous learner and I’m always trying to either level up existing skills or add new ones to my arsenal.

At SalesStar Digital, I manage Content & Creative focusing on the visual aspect of marketing, adding form to the team’s function.
With a background in Design & Brand Management, I’ve worked in FMCG and fashion retail with knowledge extending from design to copy to social media strategy.
I find joy in all things innovative and engaging, thriving on taking on new challenges while picking up new skills as I go.
Having lived and worked throughout South East Asia, soaking up the rich cultures and diversity on offer, I developed the ability to quickly decipher and engage with my environment. I bring this dynamic sense of understanding to SalesStar Digital where diving into each client’s market is a chance to learn what drives the target audience and shape their product’s pitch towards their desired transformation.
I believe that the truth lies in the data and that eventually, those insightful gold nuggets will arise through creatively testing and analysing.
Equipped with a BSc majoring in computer science and chemistry from the University of Auckland, I apply my background in science to digital marketing in a pragmatic sense. I utilise technical tools and automation to carry out market research, testing and lead generation in an efficient, insightful and scalable process.

Oliver is an upcoming digital marketer specialising in social media marketing and video production. He has recently graduated from the University of Huddersfield in Broadcast Journalism and has been the media manager of Huddersfield Town Women FC since 2018. He joined SalesStar as part of the UK government’s kickstarter scheme which provides entry level roles into the industry.
Not only is Oliver part of SalesStar UK, he is also the Creative and Content Executive at SalesStar Digital.
In his spare time Oliver can be found either walking throughout the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, playing video games or watching football at his local football club, Huddersfield Town.
Oliver aims to continue his learning development into digital marketing and build the SalesStar UK online presence.
